Fiat 500 for Vivere&Viaggiare and Bluvacanze

 

Last weekend, the port of Genoa hosted the ceremony for the delivery of 200 Fiat 500 cars to the Vivere & Viaggiare and Bluvacanze travel agencies. The majestic MSC Grandiosa, the new flagship of MSC Cruises, provided a spectacular setting, in the presence of Nicola Pumilia, FCA Fleet & Business Sales Manager, Alberto Viano, CEO LeasePlan Italia, Domenico Pellegrino, CEO Bluvacanze, Gianni Onorato, MSC Cruises Chief Executive Officer and member of the Bluvacanze Group Board, plus over 350 agents of the Bluvacanze network.

 

Created especially by the FCA Group in a limited edition, the cars were all clothed in a specific livery: BluVacanze (blue 282C pantone), the registered color of the Bluvacanze brand. Backing up this personalization, an internal inscription indicates the numbering of each car (from 001 to 200), which appears also on its number plate, thanks to a special effort made during the official registration phase. The production of this customized fleet was made possible thanks to the coordinated commitment of the two partners to this initiative, LeasePlan and FCA.

 

Launched in 1957 and relaunched in 2007, the Fiat 500 is an iconic worldwide symbol of Italian quality. In the 1960s it personified the spread of popular car-owning in Europe, and in the first decade of the third millennium it revolutionized the city-car category, offering an extraordinary blend of style and technological innovation in this segment. And today, it continues its role as a protagonist of sustainable urban mobility: segment leader in Europe and for the last 2 years FCA's best-selling car. And last year, in its eleventh year on the market, it notched up its best progressive figures ever, with roughly 194,000 units registered.

 

A hugely successful 100% Italian car, made-to-measure for the Bluvacanze Group, which is one of the largest and most important tourist companies in Italy. It offers 360-degree travel services and for almost 50 years has accompanied its customers in their travel plans and vacation experiences.
